All About Capitalism: A Love Story
When out teacher said we are watching Capitalism A love story, I was all excited about "A Love Story" I didn't even hear the 'Capitalism" part. Most young people like myself don't even know what it really means when others talk about Capitalism so here is a link of the Capitalism meaning and a few details. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/capitalism \
While watching the movie I was waiting for the love part, where someone is going to fall in love with someone else. But no such a thing happen, however there were a lot of people falling in love with money, and going to an extreme extant to get that money. In the whole movie, almost everyone was trying to get rich. Michael Moore's has done a great job crossing his point by capturing everyone's attention through giving facts, showing the suffering families, and making it funny. My favorite part about the whole movie, was how he went to the banks and was trying to make a citizens arrest. It also showed how "smart" people didn't understand or valued some of the laws, they laughed and kicked him out of the building when he was trying to do a citizen's arrest, and now one really stopped to listen to him oven help him. This movie did open my eyes on how the government system works in the United States of America.

My first reaction about this clip is, yes people can get really lazy and depend on technology more than needed. It’s nice to enjoy convince but not to the point where neglect our health and depend on machines for our needs. I didn't like how they have shakes for meals, I like to enjoy chewing my food not drink it. Also, how fast they can change was awesome, I wouldn't mind being able to change that fast either.  What resonates within me the most is how people carry a conversation with each other, Like they were “face timing” with each other as a way of communication. I mean, we currently do that now but, it’s more like texting each other from a different room to ask a quick question about simple things. Another thing that stuck in my mind about this clip is how there are no humans working. Everything is done with robots and machines. In our current society there is a great demand for machine labor such as lifting heavyweights for construction and other physically demanding jobs. If it comes to the point where all a person had to do was to find out what they wanted to do that day, then our health is in jeopardy. As it shows in this clip how they will look like balloons if our health is neglected. What I found concerning is this movie clip is the obesity of the characters, not because being overweight isn't attractive or acceptable. But the impression I received from it is that they didn't notice or even care about any difference in their appearance. Speaking of them being overweight it brings me to think about the lack of exercise in their lives, they don’t even walk to a restaurant to have lunch.

Over the weekend I tried an unusual restaurant, it is called Pak Afghan Halal (Pakistan and Afghanistan Halal, Halal is a different way of killing the animal) the place looks like a hole in the wall, with dark red and black painted walls and all plain tables and same boring color chairs. I went there with a co-worker after ditching work a few hours early that day. We were the only people in the whole restaurant there to eat, a few other people were sitting on the table near to the kitchen but I thing they were just family members visiting with the owner or a worker there. The menu was huge compare to any other Middle Eastern restaurant I have been in. For appetizer I chose a dish called "Bolani" which it looked like a pizza but it taste nowhere close to pizza, it was made of mush potatoes, onions, and some other kind of spices.

We were only able to eat one third of it to keep room for our chicken and rice dinner. My friend's plate called "chicken boti" I don't know how they made that chicken but it just melted in our mouths. My dinner was rice and chicken cooked together, where I was able to taste the chicken flavor in my rice. Our plates were at least two servings each, so we had lots of leftovers that we took home with us. This place was so much different than any American restaurants I have been in. At fist the place gives you the vibe that it won't be no good and that it is just waist of your time and money, but after tasting the food it becomes your favorite restaurant. Now I like the place so much that I don't want to share it with friends and family because I am a little bit of a selfish person when it comes to good food.
