Entry #2 Work Hard Play Hard

What does this “work hard play hard” means to me; umm I guess work when it is work time (when you are at work) and play when it is play time (free time). This is one of my definitions, another one could be that you go to school and to well when you are younger, and you party hard when you get older as an when you have lots of money. Well as good as this sounds I really don’t believe it, you know why?! Because people wants to party when they are younger, not when they are 50 plus. I causally don’t even agree with this term, as much as I been told to focus on school and stop partying I know am not going to. I am not going to because I don’t look at life like most people do. I think I can do both, week days school and work, and weekends work and party. I am young; I can stay up till 12am to study and get up at 8am and be at work at 9am ready to go. Weekends I can party my heart out till 2am and get up at 10am be at work at 12am and ready the same thing the next day. Knowing what I am capable of why must I be boring and wait to party till I am 50plus?! At that age I won’t even want to party, because I will be too old!! Who am I going to party with my kids?! Even they will be too old and out of that parting stage. So I say work and party at the same time!!!

Entry #1 How I Feel About Blogging

I read through a lot of blogs the ones that were in the “Best Bloggers according to Time Magazine and also the ones that were posted by other students of English 101 and 102. I liked the ones that were posted by the students a lot more than the ones that were posted on other sites. This could be because I relate a lot more to the students since we are doing “blogging” for the same reason or just that the style of their writing. If blogging was just like how other students have done then I love blogging. Also blogging reminds me of facebook, you can imagine how those people are just by their blogs.

However I did make myself read a few of the blogs of Best Bloggers according to Time Magazine. The one that I kind of liked was 20 Nothing, I liked how everything had its own calm, like she would talk about a topic and have pictures and then go to a different calm. My two favorite calms were when she writes about J and her husband, I want to do the same checklist as them when I get married. It is fun and it gives you and your partner something fun to do together that can bring you closer. Also the 30 resolutions for 30-somethings and the”Let’s put this whole ladies Intimidating Men” Debate to bed; they were both funny and yet true. Another one that I read was 101 Cookbooks which was very boring to me. Because it was all about healthy food, I do understand that its goal was to be healthy but still the pictures of the food didn't look good and it sounded even worse. Oh it was very time consuming and hard like how to make the Detoxifying Mint Tea, do they know that we are all lazy? I mean that is why we get fat at the first place right? So why would we spend so much time on a nasty tasting tea?!.  Anyways I feel this way because I am not looking at it from a healthy person’s view point.
